Competition Training by Juliet Draper
As the regional draws near the team has to shift their concentration from better, stronger, faster, more to maintaining their fitness level, honing their techniques and resting enough to avoid injury and illness.      The last time Juliet competed she sprained her ankle 10 days before the event.

The day Dr. Jack came to visit, Juliet had a really good run. We won't tell you how good, you'll just have to wait until Castle rock.
One of the things Juliet learned during this competition cycle is to practice like she is going to compete. As you can see from her having to use all fours

to keep from collapsing onto the black top, she is taking her lessons seriously. The intensity of competition training depends on the level of your athletism and your goal.
